Congratulations and best wishes to Corina Cruz and Eddie Carrieri and their respective families: Julio Cruz and Grace Rivera; and Susanna and Enzo Carrieri The happy couple, a School Teacher from Bay Shore and an NYPD Officer from Kew Gardens were engaged while in Niagara Falls on July 7, 2007. 'We decided to take a little road trip to Niagara Falls. My kids (14 and 11 years old) had never seen the falls and we wanted to get away for a few days. The view from the 'Maid of the Mist' boat is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. As we neared Horseshoe Fall, I turned to tell Eddie something and saw him get down on one knee. He said, 'I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?' I said, 'Yes!, yes!' We kissed and laughed and hugged as the boat circled by the thunderous falls. Turns out the kids were in on it and had even gone to the jeweler with him to help pick out the perfect ring for me. It was amazing. ' They look forward to a September 2008 wedding and celebration.
