Engaged as of June 2, 2007: Lesley Milliken and John Byrnes.
Wishing them all the best and many congratulations to their families: Kathy and Walter Milliknen; and Sandy and John Byrnes.
The two, a Marketing Professional and an Office Manager, both fromj Port Chester, were engaged while at Rye Beach.
'Proposal: He surprised me with strawberries and champagne to celebrate our 3 year anniversary, that was on 5/29/07, and a 'late Graduation present' turns out it was his proposal. To top it all off we went back to his house and he surprised me again with a Graduation party/Engagement party and had my friends from college come. '
They look forward to a July 3, 2008 celebration at Glen Island Harbour. Yet, the bride-to-be says: 'I don't need a ring to be his wife'
