Congratulaions, best wishes and welcome abroard to Tiffany Velez and Chris Macartney and their respective families: Denise Caggiano and Orlando and Alexis Velez; and Ketih and Patricia Macartney. The happy couple, a Speech Language Pathologist from the Bronx and a Personal Chef from Northpot were engaged on November 14, 2006 in Glen Head. 'He proposed the night before I was leaving for Miami for a convention. I walked through the door and in the living room was a huge box that said 'open me'. I thought it was a new TV, but I unwrapped the box and there was Chris, on one knee. He asked me to marry him, and of course I accepted. This all happened 10 weeks after we met! They look forward to a December 29, 2007 celebration at St. Benedict's Parish/Crest Hollow Country Club. We wish them much continued love, happiness and all the best.
