Congratulations and all the best to Theresa Waddell and Michael Gerber and their families: Robert and Dianne Waddell; and Dennis and Diane Gerber.
The happy couple, a Teacher from Hicksville and an LIRR conductor from Patchogue were engaged at Jimmy Hayes restaurant on October 20, 2007
'Michael proposed to me on his birthday. He found out the restaurant I was taking him to from my parents. When the dessert came out there was a card inside saying 'Theresa, Will You Marry Me?' The entire restaurant was silent as he got down on one knee to propose. Afterwards he planned a weekend in the city. We partied it up at the Hudson and went on a Gondala ride through Central Park the next day. '
They look forward to an August 15, 2008 wedding and celebration at Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst.
