All the best to Cheryl Springsteen and Douglas Lippert and their families: Ellen E. Springsteen; and Meryl and Ian Lippert.
The two, a Teacher and a Recruitment Coordinator, both from Rego Park wre engaged in their home on December 22, 2007.
'Douglas took me to Manhattan for the evening. We went on a carriage ride around Central Park, had dinner at Brasserie 8 1/2 and finally went to Rockerfeller Center to see the Christmas Tree and take in the view from the Top of the Rock. When the evening was done, Doug poured us each a glass of sparkling Rose and started to read me a poem that he wrote himself. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was PERFECT!'
They look forward to a May 2, 2009 wedding and celebration at The Swan Club.
