Long Island Engagement Announcements

We are happy to announce the engagement of Lisa Pecchio and Michael Visco and to extend our congratulations to their families: Richard and Alice Pecchio; and Al and Gail Visco. The two, from Miller Place and Huntington Station respectively were engaged on February 14, 2008 at Lisa's home 'Michael brought valentine's day flowers (6 red roses & 6 white carnations), took Lisa for a sushi dinner at what he describes as 'their place' and returned back to her house. They went into her bedroom where Mike presented Lisa with a white heart shaped box of chocolates. Inside the box were hand selected chocolates surrounding a black ring box. She opened the ring box and he got down on one knee and gave a short speech culminating with 'will you marry me?' Lisa said yes and Mike put the ring on her finger. Lisa couldn't stop smiling and giggling and Mike's nerves finally got the best of him and he started shaking. Then they called their nearest and dearest to share the news. They look forward to a March 20 2010 celebration. We wish them all the best.
