Welcome, congratulations and best wishes to Lauren McGoey and Steve Marocchi and their families: Joan and Victor Suspenski; and Carol Marocchi.
The two, a Schook Teacher and an IT Manager, both from Babylon Village were engaged on March 7, 2008 in New York City.
'My birthday...Steve reserved a room at the Sheraton in NYC, made dinner reservations at Smith & Wollensky Steak House, and got 5th row seats for us to see 'Mary Poppins' on Broadway! He had planned to propose on a Handsom Cab ride through Central Park at the end of the night, but torrential downpours quickly changed that. Just after we checked into the hotel and he gave me my birthday cards, got down on one knee and asked. Through all our tears, I accepted. We hugged & kissed, and he gave me the most gorgeous ring I've ever seen!'
They look forward to an August 15, 2009 celebration at the Venetian Yacht Club.
