Long Island Engagement Announcements

It was snowy and Icy morning when Derek and Jen made their treck to go skiing on Gore Mountain near Lake George NY. When arriving at the mountain ski conditions did not seem positive. Yet they both decided to take the highest ski lift up to what is known as the summit of the mountain. An hour and half of Jen screaming and yelling that she wanted to get off this god awful creation because she was tired and cold, they finally made it down with a few bumps and bruises. Only one run and 120 dollars out the window we head to our bed and breakfast. Not to mention we did pass the northway exit to get to the place and got lost. Finally we arrived to the Wells House bed and breakfast tired, cold and very hungry. We decided to take a warm shower and get freshen up for a late lunch. While Jen was finishing up in the shower and almost slid coming out of the tub, Derek put together his master plan which was suppose to happen at the top of the Mountain. Jen came out of the bathroom hopped on the bed to put her shoes on to go down stairs when Derek got down on one knee in front of her. He stated ' Babe I know we had a bad morning but maybe this will cheer you up, will you marry me!' The rest was history. Oh yeah and I said 'Shut up, Yes I will' Congratulaions and best wishes to Jennifer Le Guelaff and Derek Marchese and their families: Daniel and Sharon Le Guelaff; and Salvator and Darlene Marchese. The happy couple from Floral Park and Whitesboro respectively were engaged at Gore Mountain on February 2, 2008 and look forward to a November 7, 2009 celebration at the Fox Hollow Inn. We wish them much continued love and happiness.
