It is with great pride that we formally announce our engagement, honoring the four people who made this possible, our parents Susanna, Peter, Teresa, and Angel. Bryan Angelo Casull and Mary Catherine Novak, engaged on October 17, 2008. We met through two very dear friends James and Lindsay G. in 2005 when I was Bryan's date to the 2005 USMC Ball. Soon after we began dating and in May 2007 we moved in together. Bryan is a CAD Draftsman in the Waste Water Dept. of H2M Group and I am the Technical Communications Supervisor for Techno, Inc. We formally announced our engagement to family and out-of-state friends in our holiday cards. I wanted to find a creative way to explain how Bryan proposed so I wrote the following poem... The Proposal. On the eve of her birth he cooked such a meal, with a ring in his pocket he closed the deal. Nervous as every moment soon passed, he got up the courage and began to ask. With a bag full of gifts he soon changed her life, the last a hand-stiched turtleneck asking her to be his wife. A scream of surprise as she dropped her jaw, he was on his knee, holding a ring in awe. Silence and shock for a moment or two, then out of his hand the pink stone ring flew. He had asked for her hand a short time before, and as he planned this proposal, his love grew more. On her finger she stared as she realized she'd not said yes, with a nod of her head, she'd never felt so blessed. They then called their families to share the fine news, 'twas a happy evening for the newly engaged two. Celebrations are pending, and news will be spread, all shall be posted on what lies ahead! A wedding is tentative for February of '11, for now they'll enjoy engagement heaven!
