Long Island Engagement Announcements

Welcome and best wishes to Tierney Morris and Blake Sydio and to their respective families: Jo-an & David Morris; and Rita& John Sydio. The two: A Nurses Aid and a Law Enforcement Professional from Jamaica Estates and Long Island were engaged on November 30, 2008 at the bride's in-laws house. 'I was under the impression i was attending his sister 30th birthday party. After having dinner my sister in law and I were sent out to get coffee. Upon returning we were told she would open gifts prior to cake because family member had to leave early. I was asked to help her open up a big box which was supposed to be her new dishwasher. As i started to help lift the box up underneath was my fiancee on one knee with the ring in his hand.' They look forward to a September 10, 2011 celebration of love at Immaculate Conception Church. We wish them much continued love and happiness.
