Welcome aboard and much continued happiness to Jen MacDonald and Fred Boese and their families: Corrine and Kevin MacDonald; and Kathleen and Frederick Boese.
The happy couple: a School Counselor and a Police Officer, both from Riverhead were engaged on October 31, 2008 at their home.
'Halloween proposal, Freddie came to the door dressed up as a 20's mobster complete with suit and top hat, I asked him what he was doing and he said, ' I am here to take my fiancee to the Halloween ball tonite' I was like, 'what are you talking about?' He then dropped to one knee opened a small black box and asked me to marry him... Of course I said yes! Then we popped champagne and he brought me upstairs to show me my head to toe flapper girl costume which I eagerly put on did my hair, went to the ball at East Winds and flaunted my new piece of bling for the first time!'
They look forward to an October 25, 2009 celebration at the Vineyard Caterers.
