I grew up in a family full of Disney lovers. Since the age of two I have been going there every year and even decided during college to participate in their Disney college program where I interned in their parks.
Tim and I met in high school and have been dating for 7 1/2 years and have never spent much time apart!
On March 20, 2009 Timmy invited me over for my birthday dinner. I walked into his house and saw both his family and my family standing in his dining room. The lights shut off and he walked towards me holding my birthday cake. My heart began pounding as I realized there on top of the cake lied a glass slipper. All I could see was the sparkle of the ring lying in the center of the slipper. The lights went on and although everything was blurry due to the heavy flow of tears coming down my face, I could make out what the cake read. The cake read 'Happy Birthday Lauren, Today’s the day our dreams come true, I want to marry you!' I first hyperventilated, then cried, and then screamed out loud YES! Having my entire family there with me and having my favorite thing in the world, DISNEY, incorporated in my engagement truly made it my dream come true.
He knew If we went to Disney I'd expect it so Timmy instead customized my proposal to be a mixture of family and magic and for that I will always know how much he loves me. I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

The happy couple, engaged on March 20, 2009 looks forward to an October 15, 2011 celebration.
