Dave planned a day out east for my birthday - vineyard hopping on the north fork. It was a beautiful day together, and finally it didn't rain! On our drive back home Dave decided he was 'craving steamers' so off to Nicky's on the Bay we went. We arrived there to see my family, including my sister and niece from North Carolina to celebrate my birthday with us. In the middle of dinner, Dave toasted to my birthday, and then asked my parents for my hand in marriage. With their whole hearted blessings, he got down on one knee and proposed. Of course, I said yes!

The happy couple, engaged on June 23, 2009 looks forward to a November 26, 2010 celebration.
