Long Island Engagement Announcements

We are happy to welcome to our online family Maria Bassi and Danny Pellegrino and their respective families: Domenica and Vinny Bassi; and Maria and Gaspare Pellegrino. The happy couple: A Teacher and an Electrician from Deer Park and Dix Hills respectively were engaged on May 15, 2009 at Captree docks. 'Danny and Maria had plans to go out for dinner. When Danny came to pick Maria up he told her that he had to make a stop at Captree to find out what time the charter boats leave the next morning because he wanted to go fishing. When they arrived at Captree, Maria was a bit stunned because they weren;t where the boats were. Danny asked Maria to get out of the car and they went for a walk along the broadwalk. As they came to the middle of the broadwalk Maria and Danny hugged and Danny finally stopped beating around the bush and proposed to Maria. It was everything Maria had dreamed of and more!!' They look forward to a July 23, 2011 celebration. We wish them all the best.
