Long Island Engagement Announcements

We would like to welcome to our online family Mayra Padro and Victor Miranda and to extend our congratulations to their families: Jose and Narcisa Padro; and Brett and Martha Spiller. The two: A Legal Assistand and an employee at NBC, both from North Bellmore were engaged on April 19, 2009 in their apartment living room. 'He proposed while I was home recooperating after a terrible freak accident that took place earlier that day! We were on our way to an auto show in NYC and as we were driving westbound, a log of some sort came flying towards us shattering the windshield glass nearly killing me. I was in total shock as it is after that incident and he nearly gave me a heart attack by proposing that same night! I was truly surprised. He told me he was going to get some milk but instead came back with a bouquet, a card that said he could not imagine anything happening to me and then he nervously proposed!!! I was in tears.' They look forward to a September 10, 2010 celebration at Land's End. We wish them much continued love, health and happiness.
