Emily Ratner & Joseph Zappia

We are happy to announce the engagement of Emily Ratner to Joseph Zappia, and to extend our congratulations to their respective families: Marie Ratner; and Natale & Jean.
The happy couple: a Registerd Dietician from Valley Stream, and a New York City Cop from Lynbrook was engaged in Puerto Rico on May 13, 2009.
'Joe surprised Emily with a trip to the Carribbean. She wasn't able to find out the destination until she got to the airport. She was thrilled to find out she was going to Puerto Rico. Another surprise was waiting for her when she got to the hotel. Joe had booked an oceanfront suite with Royal Service and popped the question on our deck. It was the greatest day in both our lives'
They look forward to a June 10, 2011 celebration at the Bridgeview Yacht Club.
