Long Island Engagement Announcements

We are happy to announce the engagement of Nicoletta Volpe and John Gribbins and to extend our congratulations to their respective families: John and Lucrezia Volpe; and John and Eileen Gribbins. The happy Bellport couple was engaged on June 20, 2009 at home. ' The day before we left to go to Italy I had my cousin's Bridal Shower to attend. It was a long day so when I returned home I was caught completely off guard when John was on one knee with a ring in his hand and our dog Tyson sitting next him. He asked me to marry him and it took me a few minutes to register what was going on..lol..of course I finally said yes!! We celebrated by going out to dinner that night and then left for Italy the next day where we spent our first 3 weeks of engagement!!' They look forward to an August 22, 2010 celebration at The Estate at East Wind in Wading River. We wish them all the very bery best.
