Welcomea nd all the best to Stephanie Dubois and Ruben Rivera and their families: Laura Dubois and Robert Dubois Jr.; and Jose and Mariella Rivera The two, a Substitute Teacher/Student from Mastic Beach and a Student currently working in a restaurant from Hampton Bays were engaged on July 12, 2009 in Central Park. 'Ruben bought me tickets to a show for my birthday. After the show he said that he wanted to take me some place that I had never been to before. He took me to Lincoln Center because it is supposed to be beautiful, but it was under construction and wasn't so picturesque with orange cones and dirt piles everywhere. He then said that we had to go to Central Park. After spending so much time walking to find a quiet spot I asked what we were doing cause my feet hurt. He then pulled out the ring, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so shocked. I had no idea what he had been planning!!' They look forwardt o an October 23, 2010 celebration at East Winds (Country Gardens). We wish them much continued love and happiness.
