Long Island Engagement Announcements

We just had a barbecue at my house and we dropped Andrew and Eva off at their house. Rabbit and I went over to his house around 8 something. Our plan was to watch 'Role Models' starring McLuvin' and have a relaxing movie night. I was in his room and he went to the living room to get something. It was candles on top of a plate. He said 'Let's make this a little more romantic'. He lighted up the candles on his dress table and bookshelf. Then he went to his computer and turned off some browser screens and turned on some music. I thought he was looking for a movie while turning on the music, so I wasn't paying attention to the music. I think it was one of Andy McKee's songs. I was just focusing on when he was going to play the movie. Then he told me turn around and told me not to look. I heard some ruffling noises and thought it was chocolate or candy. He said it's better than that and told me not to peek if I wanted it. Then he came over in front of me and gave me a gigantic pink diamond gag ring. I was like 'Oh my gosh, it's umm really huge and cute.' Haha..... He said 'Sal told me to give that to you. She got it from Partyfair yesterday.' I was like that's so hilarious. It even lights up! Then he went back to his desk with my back turned towards him. I was bummed out seeing that it wasn't chocolate. Haha..... Suddenly, he took my hand and faced me towards him. Out of nowhere, he bent down on one knee with a red box on his hand and opened the box and asked 'Will you marry me?' Oh boy, was he nervous or what?! I couldn't hear it at first but I knew what he said. My first reaction was to kiss him. Then I said 'Yes!' and he slipped the ring on my finger. It was truly romantic and I will never forget this time and day and how he did it - 9:00pm on Saturday, July 11th, 2009. We're so excited and happy!! I love you Sweetie!!
