Welcome and best wishes to Katherine Thullen and Kirt Squires and to their respective families: Jack and Heidi Thullen; and Paul and Lynn Squires.
The happy couple: A High School Special Ed Teacher and a Meterologist from Manorville and Mastic respectively, was engaged on November 7, 2009 at Smith Point Beach.
'Kirt proposed to Kat on November 7, 2009 at Smithpoint Beach in Shirley, New York. After raking leaves, Kirt and Kat were going to eat lunch when they stopped to 'look at the water'. Suddenly, Kirt surprised Kat and got down on one knee (in the mud and all). They celebrated that night at East Winds in Wading River, New York. '
They look forward to an August 21, 2010 celebration of love at LarkfiedlManor in Northport.
We wish them much continued love, health, and happiness.
