Long Island Engagement Announcements

We would like to welcome to our online family Kate and Wayne and extend our congratulations to their respective families: Tim and Ann; and Margaret and Wayne Sr. The two: An Engineer and a Graphic Designer from Manhasset and Northport respectively were engaged on November 27, 2009. 'Kate had been very involved with their upcoming engagement, and it proved very difficult for Wayne to surprise her with the proposal. Under the guise of a meeting with his parents in Huntington, Kate agreed to take a ride with Wayne. She was surprised to be taken to the place of their first date, Starbuck's in Huntington Village, but thought nothing of it. The coffee shop was crowded with high school teenagers, and Wayne asked a few girls that were finishing up if they could have their seats. Kate sat at the table while Wayne got them both drinks while they waited for his parents. When Wayne got back to the table, he got on bended knee and asked Kate to marry him. The entire coffee shop clapped and cheered as she said yes.' They look forward to an October 1, 2011 celebration. We wish them all the very best.
