We are happy to announce the engagement of Sireeda L. Miller and Efrain Samuel Ramos, welcome them to our online family and extend our congratulations to their respective families: Betty Miller and Alonzo Brown; and Tina Ramos andj Efrain Ramos Jr. The happy couple: A Production Coordinator and a Scale Operator from NYC and Queens respectively, was engaged in Queens on December 24, 2009. 'Sammy and I have been dating since 2005. The first time we annouced we were dating was at his family's Christmas Eve party. So as a tradion, we spend Christmas Eve with his family and exchange gifts under the family christmas tree. This Christmas Eve, when it was time for me to receive my gift, his aunt presented me with a gold gift bag. When I looked inside, there was a picture of the letter 'M' in a gold frame. I was completely confused, especially since the next time it was time for me to receive a gift, I received another gold bag with the letter 'Y' in a gold frame. This continued on for the rest of the night, until the last gift under the tree was a silver party bag, for me, with the picture of the letter 'U' in a gold frame. As the family watched, I put the letters together to spell out 'Will U Marry Me'. When I looked up, Sammy was on his knees with the ring in his hand and with tears in my eyes, I said YES' they look forward to an April 23, 2011 celebration in New York. We wish them all the very best.
