Congratulations and best wishes to Trisha and Matthew. The happy, much-in-love couple from Massapequa Park was engaged in front of the Christmas Tree at Rockeffeller Center on December 6, 2009. 'On Sunday December 6th 2009, Matthew and I went to spend the day in New York City. First he took me on a horse and buggy ride through Central Park. Then we went and ate dinner at Planet Hollywood. After, we went ice skating at Rockefeller Center for the 4:30-6 session. Matt told me that at the end of the session the rink guard will take our picture by the tree. When the session ended they cleared the rink, and we were the only two left on the ice rink. Then our song 'Only Hope' began to play over the speaker. Matthew took me over to the tree and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course my answer was 'yes.' There were hundreds of people watching and they all began to clap and cheer for us. This was the best day of my life :) They look forward to a June 25, 2011 celebration at the Venetian Yach Club. We wish them much joy and all the very best.
