Congratulations and welcome to Lindsey Brandt and Kenneth W. Verderose and all the best to their respective families: Marti and Shell Brandt; and jAndrea and Kenneth M. Verdersoe. The two: A Future Music Teacher and Rock Star and a Store Manager/Partner from Dix Hills and Bay Shore were engaged on December 30, 2009 across the streed from Radio City Music Hall. 'Lindsey and Ken had gone into Manhatten to go see the tree at Rockefeller Center. After a beautiful stroll through Bryant park they walked to Rockefeller Center. Ken was supposed to propose at the tree, but there were too many people taking pictures around them. He was thinking about popping the question there eventually but unfortunately a guy had beat him to it. The guy had everyone clear off the ice rink and he proposed to his fiance. So at that point Lindsey thought Ken was not going to pop the question that day. They walked up the street and saw a display of a train on the fountain across from Radio City. Radio City was decorated in Christmas lights with a christmas tree. To Lindsey's surprise Ken got down on one knee and proposed! Of course Lindsey said yes!' They look forward to an October 10, 2011 celebration at The Woodbury Country Club. We wish them all the very best.
