Long Island Engagement Announcements

March 26th, 2010 was a very eventful day... it all started at 830 AM. I wake up to Andrew, scrambling around our bedroom attempting to be quiet (when he is actually the loudest thing on earth). 'What the heck are you doing?! it's you're day off!!' i say. he reply's 'getting dressed, going to the bank and got to pick something up at the mall'. As I'm laying there, utterly confused scratching my head, all i could ask was 'its 830... the mall doesn't open until 11..... what are you doing?!' and he reply's with 'nothinggggg... K Bye!' and darts out the door. 1230 rolls around, and he is not back yet. I called him and asked 'where are you?' he comes back with 'nowhere'...right than and there i knew what he was doing and what he was up to. he was at the mall, buying a ring. as soon as i figured it out i was yelling 'what are you doing!? why now?! I'm not saying yes! ' only because i was afraid... we didn't have much money and our living arrangements were a bit of a mess. so after he comes back i sort of forgot about everything... i was so busy at work that it slipped my mind. after work, we went out together to do some shopping, when Andy gets a call from my brother asking us to meet him at Smithtown west to watch him play football. now, i knew he didn't go to west... he went to east. but i gave it the benefit of the doubt that that's just where they were playing today. and so we went.... 2 minutes later he calls again, 'I'm at my aunts house in Ronkonkoma'... that's all i could hear from their convo. and again i thought to myself 'hmph, maybe he's getting a ride'. i must have been the dumbest girl in the world that day... because as soon as we got there and started to walk to the flag pole in the front of the school, he starts to propose to me. being a very 'realistic' person, i freaked out 'no, no no!! no way not now' i shouted... and ran to the car.... after a really awkward car ride home, i ran to my bed and hid under the covers... until i heard my mom and dad banging on my front door.. they storm into my room, pull me by my feet and start giving me the 3rd degree. 'what is wrong with you!? that man loves you!! not get your ass up and go to my house and get proposed too!' my mom states. it wasn't that i didn't love him, or anything along those lines... i just didn't know how we were going to pay for it. but, none the less, i went to my moms, he proposed to me again, right in the foyer. he had a rose in one hand, the box in the other, got down on one knee and proposed to me like a true man would. it couldn't have went any better for us. were crazy, quirky and fun. and that's how love is. :P Congratulations and all the best to Michele Joly and Andrew Seidi. The two, engaged on March 26, 2020 look forward to a June 3, 2011 celebration. We wish them all the best.
