Long Island Engagement Announcements

We are happy to announce the engagement of Lana and Johan and to extend our congrtulations to their respective families: Alex and Larisa; and Francisco and Sixta. The two: An Executive Assistant and a Support Staff Manager from Brooklyn were engaged at home on September 19, 2008. 'After coming home from a long day at work, I got upstairs and put the baby in his bouncer and went to drop off my bags and get comfy. FH asked for a glass of water and while I went to get it, he hid a bottle in the baby's bouncer. When I got back, he said to look at it. It was a clear bottle with my son's birth announcement in it. I thought it was so cute and he said his coworker made it for me as a souvenir. He told me to open it, but I didn't want to because it was so cute and I didn't want to mess it up. As a cork, there was a piece of paper with a ribbon around it. As I opened it, it said 'Mami, will you marry my papi'....I was in shock!! As I turned around to see him, he got on one knee and proposed!!!! I kept saying OMG! Then I finally said YES. It was so sweet to include my son in this event. They look forward to a July 10, 2011 celebration at Chateau Briand. We wish them all the very best.
