We are happy to welcome to our online family Lauren and Brien and to extend our congratulations to their families: Joanne; and Brien and Sharon.
The two: A Studien and A New York City Police Officer from Hauppauge and Carl Place were engaged on May 8, 2010 at Cedar Beach.
'After asking my mom if he had her blessing to marry me, Brien took me to my favorite 9/11 memorial for my dad out at Cedar Beach. Once we got in front of my dad's stone, he got down on one knee and proposed'
They look forward to an April 28, 2012 celebration.
'It was very special to me that Brien thought of a way to incorporate my dad into his proposal. I could not have asked for a better way to become engaged to my best friend.
