We are happy to anounce the engagement of Mindy Borrelli and Michael Babb and to extend our congratulations to their families: Doris Borrelli; and Bruce and Maryann Babb.
The two: a Receptionist from Middle Island and a NYC Fireman from Ridge were engaged at Mindy's house on December 25, 2007.
'We were sitting around the tree opening gifts, when I thought I was done Michael handed me one more present. He gave me a gift bag & when I looked in it I saw slippers. I took them out & put the bag down. He then told me to look @ the bottom, I removed the tissues paper & saw a box @ the bottom. With me in shock, Michael took the bag & he got on one knee & asked for my hand in marriage!!! I honestly couldnt believe it!'
They forward to a December 11, 2010 celebration at The Meadow Club of Port Jefferson.
