Long Island Engagement Announcements

Congratulations, welcome and best wishes to Alsion Browwn and Bill Teehan and their respective families: Jeannine and Walter Brown; and June and Bill Teehan. The two: A Pre-School Teacher and a Social Studies Teacher from Kings Park were engaged on July 29, 2010 at Luce Hawkins Restaurant. 'We went out to dinner to visit my sister at the new restaurant she works at out in Jamesport. After eating our delicious meals my sister suggested we walk around the beautiful grounds outside while we waited for our yummy donuts to be prepared for dessert. The grounds are beautiful with a carriage house, gardens and a gorgeous gazebo! We went into the gazebo and hugged as the sun set. I turned to walk out of the Gazebo and Bill said 'babe' I turned around and he was down on his knee! I of course said YES!!! When we went back into the restaurant my sister had let everyone in on the little secret and they all stood up and clapped and cheered and the owners were waiting at our table with a bottle of champagne, it truly was the perfect night!! :) They look forward to an August 26, 2011 celebration. We wish them all the very best.
