Congratulations and best wishes to Kristen and Shawn and to their respective families: David and Virginia; and William and Nanci.
The two: A Special Education Teacher from Islip and a Physical Education Teacher from Bay Shore were engaged on November 16, 2010 at the bride's co-op.
'He came over with a birthday present for me the day before my birthday. It was from his mom, when I opened it up there was a box with a bow. Before I had a chance to open it, Shawn was on his knee holding the box, asking for me to marry him!'
They look forward to an August 13, 2011 celebration of love at the Venetioan Yacht Club.
We wish them all the very best and much continued joy and happiness.
