Long Island Engagement Announcements

We are happy to welcome aboard Dani Wharton and Felix Rodriquez and to extend our congratulations to their families: Conne and Tom Wharton; and Mirta Rodriquez. The two: A Veterinarian from Farmingdale and a Graphic Design Artist from Selden were engaged on January 1, 2011 at Cani's parents 'So the night started with Felix's family on New Year's Eve. We were at his aunt's house until about 2am and then drove back to Dani's parents' house. Then we got back to the house and Dani kicked off her boots. As she walked away Felix said 'baby, don't freak out' as he leaned down to her boot. So Dani panicked and said 'Oh My God is it a bug? Get it away.' Felix said 'No, it's not a bug just close your eyes.' So Dani said 'No. I hate bugs!' Felix continued to say 'Will you relax??? IT'S NOT A BUG!! Close your eyes' So Dani closed her eyes and then he said 'Open!'. She opened them and he was on his knee underneath the mistletoe. Dani was in utter disbelief and fell to her knees as well (not a word of a lie). As the two of them were crying on the floor for a good 5 minutes, Felix asked 'so is that a yes??' OF COURSE IT WAS A YES!!!! ' They look forward to an August 11, 2012 celebration at Fox Hollow. We wish them all the very best.
