Brittany & Jason

Welcome and congratulations to Brittany and Jason, and an extended congratulations to their respective families; Eileen Donohue; Christine and Paul Donohue. Brittany, in human resources, and Jason, a TSA-behavioral detection officer, both from Lindenhurst, were engaged on March 20, 2011 in their bedroom.
'We came home from dinner and went to our bedroom, layed down and was talking about all our friends who just got engaged. I remember saying that it's OK if we don't get engaged any time soon because I don't want to steal anyones thunder. I also through in a smarta*s comment that I'm sure he didn't even do anything with the diamond yet. He looked at me and laughed. He said 'Ok, smarta*s; I know you know where the diamond is so go look for it.' I jumped out of bed and ran to his dresser. I pulled out the box where he 'hid' the diamond and I ripped everything apart! I couldn't find it!!! I started panicking and said 'this isn't funny Jason, where is it?!' As I was putting everything back in the box, I came across an envelope with DeNatale on it. I just stopped and starred at the envelope and said 'is this what I think it is? Is this for real?' I opened the envelope and I saw a plastic bag that the diamond was originally in but whatever was inside the bag was wrapped up. I tried to open the little bag but I was shaking so much that I just handed it to him with my back facing him; I couldn't look at him! I held my face in my hands and I kept saying OMG over and over again. I was shaking like a leaf at this point! He laughed nervously, turned me around and nervously looked at me. He then said 'Brittany I love you more than life itself, will you marry me?' I immediately said 'for real this time?' He said 'yeah, for real this time..' Of course I said 'YES!''
