Natalie and Adam

Natalie & Adam

Friday, December 31, 2010

Welcome and congrats to Natalie and Adam, and an extended congrats to their respective families; Lucille and George; and Roberta and Robert. The Seaford couple, Natalie, an esthetician, and Adam, a business owner, were engage on December 31, 2010: I had been mentioning for weeks that I wanted to get hermit crabs because I think they are so cute. Bear with me, it will come into play later. We had 8pm reservations at the melting pot for New Years eve. We worked all morning until about 1pm, got home and decided to take a nap to prep for NYE. About an hour into the nap Adam got up and said he was going to get champagne for us to drink while we were getting ready. He returned with champagne & a dozen red roses. We drank some champagne and got dressed all fancy for our dinner. When I was ready to go Adam said that he had a Christmas gift that he had forgotten to give me. He made me go in the other room and keep my eyes closed. He came to get me and led me over to the coffee table and told me to look down. When I opened my eyes there was a little tub with shells, sand and two hermit crabs. I was very happy with my new little pets and started re-arranging their 'crabitat'. When I moved a few of the shells there was a white box hidden underneath. You can guess what was inside :-) Adam made a very sweet proposal and I know he said a lot of nice things, unfortunately I was crying so hard I don't remember all of it. The happy couple is looking forward to their ceremony of love on October 7, 2012.
