A warm welcome and congratulations to Liliana Rodrigues and Robert Horna, and an extended congrats to their respective families; Maria Rodrigues; Ana and Frank Horna. Liliana, a director of marketing, and Robert, a director of IT, were engaged on October 22, 2011 in New York City.
'Bobby took me to the city for sightseeing. He surprised me with a helicopter ride where I thought he might propose and when he didn't I thought how silly I was that I thought that! He took me on a dinner yacht cruise and he asked me to go dancing on the outside deck. It was freezing so I hid under a stairwell so I wouldn't be cold and he told me how much he loved me and I thought he was being so sweet. Right after we were done giving each other a hug he got down on one knee and proposed. I started crying and I really was completely in shock. When I turned around I was looking right at the Statue of Liberty and I knew that this was the most magical day for me.'
The happy couple is looking forward to their September 1, 2013 celebration of love at St. Patrick's Church in Bay Shore and Floral Terrace.
