A warm welcome to Jennifer and John, and an extended congratulations to their respective families; Frances; Pamela and John. Jennifer, a nursing technician from Bay Shore, and John, a civil servant from East Islip, were engaged on August 11, 2012 at a Kenny Chesney concert.
'During my favorite song he asked me to take a picture with him on the platform of our section so that the stage would be in the background. He paused for a moment to 'tie his shoe' so I began watching the stage. When I turned around to see what was taking so long, he was on bended knee, and asked me to marry him.'
The happy couple is looking forward to their August 15, 2013 Long Island wedding on the beach.
