Long Island Engagement Announcements

A warm welcome and congratulations to Jennifer and David, and an extended congratulations to their respective families; MaryEllen; Wendy and Paul. Jennifer, a mental health counselor at a community residence, and David, a nurse scheduler at a pharmaceutical company, were engaged on March 1, 2013 at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. 'I had a hunch something might happen on this vacation since my fiancee was very secretive about some things. My suspicions were confirmed when the concierge at our hotel accidentally gave it away. Poor guy, I felt so bad since he worked so hard to keep everything a secret, and then it got spoiled in a matter of seconds. But regardless, I was still taken by surprise. He got dressed up for dinner and had already asked that I bring a somewhat dressier change of clothes. I thought it might happen during dinner, but he still kept me on my toes. My fiancee had gotten in contact with the manager of the photopass photographers, and the manager had two photographers set up in the rose garden outside Cinderella's castle. So the manager took us over there after dinner and had us stand in the rose garden. As soon as the fireworks show, 'Wishes,' began playing, he told me he brought me to that location for one specific reason. He then went into telling me that I had changed his life in this past year and that he wanted to change my life for the rest of our lives. He then went down on one knee and asked me to marry him as the photo flashes went off and other people around us yelled and cheered. We have everything caught on both photo and video tape, which we will cherish for the rest of our lives.' The happy couple is looking forward to their Long Island celebration of love!
