Re: 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

I wish we could go away but we really don't have any money since we just bought a house. Maybe just do a weekend somewhere.

We are going back to our catering hall for dinner, they have a restaurant there. (We had our rehearsal dinner there), since we are now house poor I think that will be it!

Re: 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

littlecat: is there anyway you could 'replicate' the meal you had at your wedding, play your sing, and get your cake recreated in a mini version?

Re: 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

We went back to our reception site for dinner and reminisce our wedding day exactly a year ago. We ordered food that was from our wedding and I try to re-live that day all over again. We met with the banquet manager for an in-person thank you and ordered a replica of our wedding cake. The replica of our wedding cake outside was not the same but the filling is exactly the same as the taste.

We decided to cut our wedding cake 12 pieces for 12 months of the year where each month on the day we would have a piece of our cake. We save the biggest piece for our one year anniversary and the taste was definitely not the same. I’m glad we cut it 12 pieces and each month we have a piece because the blackout would spoil the entire cake! We were glad to have a fresh cake replica of our wedding cake!

He gave me concert tickets to see Shania Twain an he is undecided with his gift. 1st year anniversary–paper, concert tickets is paper.

Re: 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Ours was last week. It feel on a Tuesday. That night we went out for dinner. Then came home, we ate the top of our cake to our cake cutting song. The apartment was decorated with anniversary balloons and wedding bells. We danced to our 'first dance' song. Had a champange toast.
To further celebrate our anniversary. This past weekend we went to Foxwoods. We had a Great time! It's a nice weekend getaway.
