My 1st wedding anniversary is next weekand and I have no idea what to get him. I know that the 1st year is paper. We decided to get each other something including a card. We are going away for a weekand. So I am not sure what i can get.
Any suggestions? What did all you ladies give your husband for your 1 year?

We went on a cruise so it was kind of a gift to each other I was going to get DH a BBQ but he wanted a specific kind that you can build a brick wall around (built-in BBQ) so we put that on hold lol. For paper I would think you could get tickets for something, a trip or a concert

I got DH tix to this event, I know it sounds silly but the things men love right? It's for this medieval tournament thing that he never got to go when he was a kid, lol.
For paper, you can get tix to a Broadway play (Avenue Q is my fav among Phantom of the Opera, Rent), event, concert, movie stubs, museum, etc.
Or for something personal, make a photo college.

A book I have suggests getting a piece of artwork as your paper gift, or if you are planning on not spending a lot of money they suggested doing something with origami. I agree with the other girls about tickets to something. What about a gift certificate for a couples massage or maybe just a gift certificate to a place that he likes but doesn't get to go to often. HTH

well even though it might be cheesy and makes me think of gifts I gave when I was TEN how about a coupon book for things like a massage. . etc etc

We took a trip, and are doing the same for our 2nd anniversary this year. However, a boudoir photo shoot is nice, too (I did that for him for this year!)
