In case you haven't come across these already during your engagement period, BRIDES magazine has the top 10 traits your husband might start exhibiting after the ring. How many of them apply to your guy?
1. Multitasking is a foreign word to them. If they just change the kitty litter, they need a beer, then a nap.
2. Their idea of cleaning the house involves wiping their feet on the doormat.
3. They don't get why you need to talk on the phone for so long with your mom/sister/best friend/all of the above. Especially since you did it last night, too.
4. They love gossip just as much as you do. Two words: Charlie Sheen.
5. Their hearing is perfectly fine. Their listening skills? Not so much.
6. They will never get excited about the new shower curtain. Unless you're behind it, naked.
7. When they take out the trash, they need to announce it. Every time.
8. They always go for the biggest slice of pizza in the box.
9. When they get sick, they're sure no one has ever been sicker. Every cold is the flu, every headache a migraine, every pain a life-threatening condition. They need sleep, soup, love—and the remote, please.
10. Few realize that the toilet seat can actually be put in the down position.

The only one I disagree with is the cleaning one...Dh is an amazing cleaner, he cleans better than me!

That was amazing!!! Specifically #9. Omg, I hate when he gets sick because it becomes like a national disaster or something. He always also puts the blame on me, complaints to everyone, wants me to buy him like 10 different kinds of medicines, can't do anything for himself. He just went through it a week ago --- ahhh.

Re: 10 Truths about Husbands
i have to say, while most of this is funny, alot of it doesn't apply to my DH.
#'s 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 * 10 don't apply at all.
#4 is so true! DH loves to gossip! worse than me sometimes! #9 i think is applicable to all mean, DH included. #5 - unreal and amazinly surprising how easily DH can tune me out when he wants to... #6 - DH was pretty excited when i put up our new shower curtain, but maybe only because it was the first time he ever saw it all together. DH likes really nice things.

Re: 10 Truths about Husbands
My husband is the exact opposite of #10! He credits getting yelled at by his sisters all his life with being super disciplined with the toilet seat. In fact, he comments when we have people over our place and someone leave the lid up

Re: 10 Truths about Husbands
most apply especially #9 when he is sick its the worst and he whines but if he almost cuts of his finger he is fine even though he will be bleeding everywhere, go figure
