10'er crash = REGISTRY help

Hi ladies! Congrats and Happy New Year! I just started the registry process and its pretty overwhelming! (which knives/which appliances, stainless vs nonstick/china vs no china... it goes on and on and on!!)

Question: (1) What item did you register for that you now think is pointless and will never use?? (2) What is your favorite/'can't live without' item??

Just trying to get suggestions from the experts!

Kitchen aid - can't live without

New dishes - can't live without and whatever you're getting get at LEAST 8. . oh and we got everyday china - so nicer than just the basic dishes but did not get the fancy just for occasion dishes since we just don't have the space/need for them. and they are plenty nice for company

Can't live without-Espresso/Cappucino AND coffee pot in one!!!! Use Illy coffee and that's it, I'm done! LOVE IT!

Love the waffle maker and panini press but don't use them that often.

We used the juicer a LOT at first. DH loves the juicer!!

The pots/pans set of course is clutch, I use them every day.

Calphalon knife set, use it every day.

Giant 250 piece Mikasa tableware set for our every day dishes. LOVE IT! Italian Countryside.

The expensive steel garbage can from simplehuman. SO GREAT but I could never spend $100 on a garbage can for myself!!!

The automatic soap dispenser!! GREATEST EVER!!!

I can't live without my Dyson or Keurig coffee machine.

We didn't register for china because in my opinion its a waste of a lot of money that could be spend on a dyson or keurig machine!

Can't live without my:

Rice Cooker
Keurig
Calphalon Pots and Pans (non stick set)
SLOW COOKER!!!!!!!!!!!
Dyson

Could live without:
Salad spinner
China (haven't used it once though I unwrapped it all and washed it all-this might change)
my HUGE coffee machine
50000000000000000000 towels
ETA I could clearly live without my Espresso and Capuccino machine because after it blew up at me, I returned it!

Okay, here's my advice. Knives- Henkles. Get a nice pot set. I have a Cuisinart pot set and honestly, it's just like the All Clad. Same number of stainless stell in it so it's just as durable. You also want one set of non stick pots. I have a cheap set of two- T Fal.

Don't forget a corningware set and bakeware- like Pyrex. This will be used for sure!

I got china. I LOVE my china. Some people do not want or need china. We don't NEED it per se. But I want a set that can be passed down. And my entire set is completed and it's stunning. So I say YES get the china.

The only items I registered for that I never used yet is my espresso set. I plan on making Cuban coffee one day. Just hasn't happened yet. Everything else I truly used.

Can't live without item- I have a few. My single cup Keurig coffee maker. My toaster oven and my Kitchen Aid.

My advice to you- register with your Mom. I did this and thankful I did this. She is a more experienced woman who knows what will and will not be useful.

Good luck!
