12 days of Christmas for DH

So DH and I decided that starting on 12/13 we were going to do a small gift everyday for 12 days and then on the 25th we would exchange some other bigger gifts.

The small gifts have to be $5 or under.. any ideas?

I was thinking.. small stuff like candy, gum, scratchoffs .. but I wanted to get something better..

How about tools? I just bought DH a stud finder and a good tape measure from Lowes - they were actually around $7 each but I'm sure there are less expensive ones...

A favorite candy from back in the day - Big League Chew or Razzles or a pack of candy cigs?

A mini flashlight for a keychain?

A sports key - for your house key? DH has a NY Giants key for his family member's house...

A cute pic frame that says 'I love you' with a pic of you two?

i.e.
the 6th day gift was a 6 qt. slow cooker,
the 2nd day gift was seasons 1 & 2 of Mad about You in DVD,
the 10th day gift was the 10th Anniversary edition of Toy Story on DVD,
my 12th day gift was tickets to see dancing with the stars (12 dances)

Maybe you can do something like that.

I did get him a dunkin gift card so he can get coffee in the morning and some scratch offs... but good idea on the toiletries!!! I think I have enough for like 6 days now.. 6 more to go haha

How about ....

- a bottle of his favorite beer (the large bottles)? Or a small bottle of liquor? (those really tiny ones )

- a 4x6 frame with a special picture of the two of you?

- a pair of panties that are really for YOU to wear but for HIM to enjoy???

When I read the first post this was the first thing that popped into my head!!!

When DH and I first decided to move in together, I had only gotten one key from my landlord...so for his birthday I made him (Home Depot, I think $2.99) a key with the flames, and I wrote in a blank card...'May we always keep the fire burning as HOT as it is right now!' He loved it!!! Still has the key on his key ring even though we don't even live in that apartment anymore!
