The Good and the Bad please !

I have been to both Riviera Maya and the Dominican Republic relatively recently.

I prefer Riviera Maya. We stayed in Playa Del Carmen at the Royal Hidaway - it was the best resort I have ever been to. Amazing restaurants, the best service ever, and a beautiful room (without even upgrading!)

At DR, I went with a bunch of girlfriends and stayed at Breezes. I would not reccommend this place - it was not that nice, not well kept, and the service was just ok. We had a really hard time getting dinners in their restaurants, they have a stupid way of organizing things that makes in nearly impossible.

I have a great travel agent, my mom, if you need help FM me! She has alot of knowledge and first hand experience at many resorts.
