We're going away on a trip.... We're actually staying where we went on our HM. That will be our gift to each other.

Well we are going to Costa Rica but as a small gift I bought a journal and had our names and wedding date enbossed on cover and then I wrote him a note and put inside tixs to National Symphony Orchestra playing video game music and then I wrote things about our first married year and included a quote from my diary from each month. ...this was my attempt at a 'paper' traditional gift.

I got him tix to a Yankee/Red Sox Game and a few other small things and we went away to the Poconos for 5 days after spending 4 days out east at the beach house.

We did skydiving, dinner, and a vacation so I wasn't going to get him anything, but I ended up getting him a Movado watch he wanted.

We wrote each other letters (since 1st year is paper) and I bought him a Sirius Boom Box (he wanted that ![]()
) and will get him a watch soon...money's been tight!! ![]()

we just had our one- year anniversary last weekend ![]()
we went away for the weekend to a winery in NJ down near atlantic city, and while we were there we had a GREAT 6-course fancy dinner![]()
we also bought each other ' matching' bolova watches, and had them engraved with our initials and the wedding date....

I got him a traditional 'paper gift' of a framed charactiure of the 2 of us, sitting at a dining room table celebrating our annivesary and our wedding date engraved across the bottom.
I also got him a home theatre system with surround sound. That was the untraditional gift!
