DH best friend daughter's 1 st birthday is on saturday. We don't want to buy clothes and she has so much toys. We want to get something for her so when she grows up she has something with a value. Any ideas?

I usually get a bond or give a gifts certificate to a children's clothing place.

we got a personalized book for one of our friend's daughters and they loved it- it was about $20 and it had her name & all her friends/cousins names- really cute

I havent gotten one in a while, but I believe you get them at the bank. I think the fee is half of what you want the bond to be ($50 bond would cost you $25).
