2 Months and.....
Not only have I managed not to kill DH for 2 months so far, but today I am officially an Athanasiou!
Went to SS and DMV and FINALLY changed my name. I was in and out in like 15 minutes each place! Just annoyed that I didn't change my title and registration at DMV because my dad told me I needed the lien release, which apparently you do not, so eventually I'll need to go back. Then I went to both our banks and changed everything there too since I told work I'd be in at 12:30, assuming it would take longer than it did, and had more free time. I had MORE trouble at the banks! There was a whole big thing because when I signed my name at the bank it didn't look anything like my 16 year old signature on my license![]()
and they had to call my old branch to verify it was really me, and it was clearly me in the photo and it looked close enough, just not as neat, so whatever. PITA. But I'm happy I got a lot done today! Now I just need to do my passport and my credit cards and I'm all set, woot!
