in 2009 i want to:

VACATION as much as possible - DH works so hard so he deserves it - and i'll just tag along

LOOK NICE for 15 months of being engaged i was a frump - well, i want to be and will be a hot wife and i've been doing good, i got all new clothes, a nice haircut that i blow out everyday , i really have no more excuse to look like a bum 24/7 :)

SAVE money -(but i'm good at that already!) we are both saving as much as we can (without killing ourselves) so we can hopefully purchase a home in 2009 and still have money left to furnish it

BE HEALTHY - stop smoking for good, continue going to the gym, eat healthy, take vitamins, all that good stuff

WORRY LESS - self explanatory!

ETS:
clean up all the wedding stuff, get rid of it or box it up, get my dress cleaned, work on albums and scrapbooks :) :) :)

I thought my #1 goal was to go to the gym but I now realize my #1 goal is to leave my current company and get a real job! That's me praying. I want to have a normal job for at least a year until we start TTC

um..get a better job, start a hobby in photography ( I may want to do that on the side someday), lose some weight)

Kristin I got a new camera for Christmas and am looking into photography classes -- interested in going?

I already found one by Nikon -- that isreally more to learn about SLR photography and the camera I got. There is also a light and color class.

Let me know!

I know it's a great idea...but I am just so used to being independent even though DH keeps saying its OUR money I feel like he'd be paying for my bills and I hate the thought

But I think it'd be the most effective way to save!

i agree with you - that's a great idea but I'd have the same issue... he still buys stuff with his money and I buy stuff with mine so I don't know how we could totally combine. Oh well.

That is what I got the D60! It takes great pictures but i am clueless about really maximizing what it can do.

I have the classes on my calendar and as long as I am not traveling that weekend I am doing it. Let me know if guys are interested!

Re: 2008 is done... now what??

2008 was one of the most trying times in my life and I'm happy that the year is coming to an end. I have a new appreciation for my life and look forward to all the changes coming in 2009.

*most looking forward to becoming a Mom in June.
*hoping to move into a bigger house in early '09 (possibly even out of state)
*getting close to paying off a lot of debt from the wedding and cc's
*maybe getting back into school in the Fall
*DH getting that promotion that he so deserves
*my BFF's wedding in October
