3 1/2 months and still haven't picked a Thank You picture!

Am I the only one who is such a procrastinator? (Yes, same woman who just unpacked her shower gifts after 9 months) It isn't even the writing of the cards that I dread- it's the picking of the picture! I have a few possibilities in mind and will scan them this week for you ladies. Please someone, set a fire under me!

Thanks Liz! One month?? And you feel bad? I am really awful... I promise to do it this week. But first I have to watch the Today Show throws a wedding piece, they are revealing some of the dress choices

My suggestion is that you send out the TYs asap without a photo. You can always include a photo in christmas/holiday cards later on. Don't delay because of a photo.

I agree with Michele. I think people will start to wonder where their TY is. I personally don't agree that you have a year or whatever to send your TY's. The sooner they go out the better. I know I start to wonder if a gift was even received if I don't get a TY shortly after it was given. Either pick a photo really quickly or send them without.

Actually- you have 3 months to send TYs!! You have one year to send a gift.

I have never gone to a wedding and started counting the days after it wondering where my thank you was. The only people who know the 3 month rule are brides. The rest of universe doesnt know it and most people dont care when it comes.

IMO - its much more important to send something you are happy with and write a heartfelt note inside each one rather than rush to send something generic.

Dont feel bad, I am almost at the three month mark, and I just picked a picture and ordered thank you's yesterday! I am a very busy girl! LOL

Anyway pick what you like, and do your thanks yous as quickly as you can. We will be late together.

Edited to say: I still have NOT unpacked my shower gifts!

I got married the day after you. I just mailed mine out today! My mother get reminding me to send them out to her friends first....I guess I took to long in her eyes. I did them all myself. He wouldn't help me! I hope I didn't forget anyone!

OMG- 3 mos!! I never heard of that!! My stomach hurts now. I am usually so responsible about stuff like this. The pictures are getting scanned today, I swear!
