3 pairs of pants and 2 cashmere sweaters later

I do love my DH but the man has got to learn to take out my dry clean only clothes when he does laundry - the man ruined all the above and I'm ready to spit fire b/c I'm tall and its so hard for me to find clothes that fit.

I don't want to be mad b/c I know he was only doing laundry to help but he ruined all my really expensive stuff for work.

So he owes me a nice big shopping spree now right................

Sorry girls - had to vent. I'm just so pissed off.

DH has done that to me - it's infuriating but you know it was an accident.

This is why I never let my DH touch my laundry!

Maybe you can keep 2 separate hampers - one for dry cleaning and one for regular wash. That's what I do for DH's clothes.

So sorry Lori Maybe you can keep 2 separate hampers - one for dry cleaning and one for regular wash. That's what I do for DH's clothes.

We do the same as Teri. 1 for regualr clothes & 1 for dry clean items.

We still each do our own laundry! It works for us!

That way, no one messes with the others clothes. We have no one to blame but ourselves!

Roger can give Neil lessons, after enough telling he has gotten the hint of laundry. I used to dread it, but I refused to do it all, so now before he does he ask. What a man. Hey look at the bright side, you get new stuff and he does not know how much the old stuff cost

I guess we all have been there. DH did the exact same thing to me with a cashmere sweater he did it to himself too. He has since learned to look at the label.

ahhh I WISH my husband would do laundry, LOL.
When I lived at home my mother did that to a few of my sweaters... so upsetting.

My Dh ruined 6 pairs of Really expensive pants.. he is only allowed to wash my stuff ..
if i can sleep in it and its undergarments...

HE NEVER looks at labels... he has to ask me first..

hi sorry I'm bored and here just lurking

but what I do is have 2 hampers. One for laundry and one for dry cleaning. That way nothing gets cleaned that should by dry cleaned.

I spoke to DH before and he laughed when I told him he was paying to replace all the clothes.

Yeah, keep laughing honey b/c the more you laugh the more I'm going to spend

He claims he told me not to put my stuff there. We can go back and forth about it for hours but we will now have to have a separate pile for my work stuff.

If he thought ruining a few things would get him out of doing laundry he thought wrong. Don't they know we are the smarter sex

David did something similar when we moved in together. I know keep my dry cleaning and hand washables in a separate basket. It makes it easier for both of us.

I feel your pain! As soon as I decide which pants are my favorite pair, you can bet money that somehow they will magically appear in the washing machine, even though I keep my work clothes far far away from the hamper...FH has probably never read a clothing label in his life and no matter how hard I try to get him to look at them, he just won't do it.
