Congrats!! I am in the middle of doing this now. Its a pain for me. I hope its easier for you!! But it is very exciting getting to sign your new name. I did my banking first and I still find myself signing my madian name. Its funny!!

good luck with the name change... i wasted 2 days of my break in the social security office and the DMV! heh-heh... but honestly, it's not too bad...just go early in the morning if you can...

Yea, it's a real PITA, but it's so nice when you get to start using it!! And sometimes I want to sign my maiden name, still have to get used to it!!

Sad to say....now, i know why we get the Diamond??
Its because we have to change our names....and we have to go to DMV and SS

I still haven't gone to DMV and I am leaving for Texas tomorrow. I will show them my marriage license. I just soooooooooooooooo lazy LOL

mine was in the mail when we got back yetserday.. i not only have to change my name on my ss card and licence i have to change states on my licensce!
anyone know how graet the nj dmv is...? haha its worst then ny! thats why im goign to put it off as much as i can
