A little sad

A little sad

Today is my last day at my job. . . I took a new job that is closer to home and less hours - but I'm just really upset today

I really love all the people and while I'm sure I made the right choice, I'm just really second guessing myself today.

Just kind of wanted to vent a bit

Aw, do not second-guess yourself. It sounds like a good move. It's natural to feel that way, especially if you have been there for awhile. Good luck!!

It is sad to leave your friends and a place that you are so familiar with, but look at this as an opportunity for bigger and better things.

I agree! Think about all the friggin 36 hour shifts you pulled there, and how they did not care one bit when you said you needed to leave because you hadn't slept. Stay in touch with the people you liked, and forget about those you didn't!!!! You're making a GOOD move!!!!

Yes, I was thinking of that earlier! I remember quite a few posts where she was working almost around the clock. And, I agree, you can stay in touch with whoever is worth keeping in touch with.

change is not always easy, but I am positive you made the right choice for yourself. I know it is hard to leave those you work with, but you will meet new wonderful co-workers, best of luck at your new job.

I've been there. It's hard to let go of something that just seems so comfortable. You'll be okay.
